LOMI LOMI (HAWAIIAN) MASSAGE
Lomi Lomi is a beautiful heart centered Hawaiian form of massage, which in ancient Hawaii was practiced as a healing for native healers and as a luxury and an aide to digestion, especially by the ruling chiefs. When the early Polynesian settlers came they brought their own style and it evolved to become something uniquely Hawaiian which was practiced by everyone, from child to chief.
Lomi Lomi the Hawaiian massage basically means “to push, pull and knead”. As Lomi Lomi has evolved there are many different forms. The style I practice today is called Heartworks, originally founded by Sherman Dudoit.
Heartworks, is a healing system which brings balance and renewal and opens the heart and the body to immense peace. Through the massage energy blocks will be released allowing circulation, oxygen and qi (life force energy) to flow through your mind and body, releasing the past and allowing you to open your heart to the present.
Lomi Lomi massage is a flowing style with long fluid rhythmic strokes over the whole body with the hands making it a very relaxing, nurturing and healing massage.
There are many benefits to be gained from a Lomi Lomi Massage:
- Opens the heart
- Lymphatic drainage
- Improves circulation
- Releases blocked energy and emotions
- Healing for mind body and soul
- Stimulates immune systems
- Stimulates respiratory system
- Stimulates digestive system
- Relaxes the mind, recharges the body
- Nurtures, calms and restores you.

THE HEALING ART OF REIKI
Have you ever just wanted to switch off, disconnect from all that head talk, and become completely clear in the moment?
A Reiki session offers complete and total relaxation for the mind body and soul!
The true purpose of Reiki is to correct and align the heart and mind, keep the body fit, release energy blocks both physical and emotional, promote self confidence, support the body’s natural ability to heal itself allowing you to lead a happy healthy balanced life.”
Reiki is a very gentle Japanese technique for stress reduction and deep relaxation. By the laying of hands on the body the Reiki energy promotes health and healing through the stimulation and flow of Qi or life force energy throughout your body.
Reiki pronounced RAY KEY is made up of two Japanese words “Rei” meaning Universal and “Ki” meaning Life Force Energy. Reiki was developed in the 1920’s by a Japanese Buddhist by the name of Mikao Usui. Since then it has been adapted across many cultural traditions becoming what it is today.

VIBRATIONAL & SOUND HEALING
Sound and vibrational healing would have to be up there as one of my favourite modalities to receive myself. I can literally feel the disturbances in my energy being cleared there and then, I can walk into a session feeling anxious and unsure then walk out again feeling lighter, clearer and confident about myself and life.
Sound healing works towards balancing your physical and energetic bodies much in the same way as Reiki and crystal healings as well as vibrational remedies and other alternative medicine. Sound and vibrational healing dates back to ancient times originating from varied societies and cultures all around the world. Although sound and vibrational healing is not necessarily considered mainstream within the medical profession it is still common practice within religious and tribal ceremonies in most countries whether it be through sacred sound, chanting, prayer or song. Whether it be science, spiritual or tribal belief the one thing that they all have in common is that of the knowledge that the universe and all that we feel is a constant state of vibration made up of different frequencies. Meaning that everything in nature and yes that includes us too, vibrate to sound, light and colour.
Keeping it simple if you think about how music or song can transform a down, dull mood into that of joy, calm and or happiness it’s much the same as vibrational and sound therapy, the sound can be piercing and very confronting as it’s clashing with your energetic layers then it can be incredibly soothing and calming, either way the sound is both balancing and clearing your energetic and physical bodies of any vibration that isn’t working in harmony with your complete being.
It is believed that every cell, organ, gland and chakra within our being vibrates at its own unique frequency matching similar musical notes.
As such Tuning forks are a wonderful vibrational healing therapy which I regularly use in my clinic to correct any misalignment either within your physical, emotional or energetic bodies. As it works on balancing the nervous system the vibration and sound allows you to slip into a deep relaxed state, dissolving stress allowing mental and emotional clarity.
Alleviating stress allows for increases in energy and general all round well-being.
